VALLEMELDEE wins over a mile and a half on 4th for owners Dot and Tony Burlton to give them their second winner this year with this filly. Franny Norton gave the filly a positive ride and she responded very gamely. Hopefully, she will be able to continue to campaign on the all-weather this winter.

KYLAYNE and INVASIAN were retained at the sales, so KYLAYNE has gone for a break at Lord Derby's Stanley Stud in Newmarket under the watchful eye of one of Newmarket's top stud grooms, Pat Cronin. She joins the great OUIJA BOARD, also under Pat's care and due to foal in the spring.

INVASIAN has been schooled over hurdles and will run in due course. He will mix hurdles with flat and is due to run at Wolverhampton on 10th. BANK ON BENNY runs on 8th at Wolverhampton to bid for a double. Of our last four runners at Wolverhampton, three have won and one has been third.

WHAT A BUZZ has been schooling brilliantly over hurdles under retired top jump jockey Steve Smith Eccles and runs at Cheltenham on 18th.

Most horses are enjoying a well-earned break, including SIR DUKE, BOSUN BREESE, ASTANIA, REDESDALE and RAMPANT RONNIE, who ran so well to be 3rd at Wolverhampton last time. The last named is a lovely horse who will make up into a nice dual-purpose horse next year for his owner Ron Delnevo. Greenstead Hall Racing's SUZI'S DECISION, will shortly be going back to their stud for the winter. Her half-brother PIPPA GREENE, is favourite for the Doncaster November Handicap. We also have their yearling half-brother by NAMID, who is very sharp.

YEARLINGS. The Gongolphin and Racing Partnership have a super filly for next year by HAAFHD, from his first crop (see partnership page). Jan and Colin Harris have two nice yearlings, a colt by ARCH and a filly by FANTASTIC LIGHT. We have two yearlings currently for sale, details will be shortly on the horses for sale page.
