Desperately sad to report the loss of EDINBURGH KNIGHT yesterday at Lingfield.  Eddie went there for a racecourse gallop prior to shipping to Dubai on 6th January for the Dubai World Cup Carnival.  He sustained a very serious leg injury and could not be saved.  This is a massive blow to our yard, as he was a flag bearer for us.  Also he was an amazing horse with a real personality and everyone here was devoted to him.  His owners, Ron Delnevo, Martin Hyson, Peter and John Lupson are understandably completely devastated.  Perhaps his finest hour was not winning the Listed Hyde Stakes at Kempton, but winning the final race on the inuagural Champions Day at Ascot in 2011, where all his owners were present and the thrill and excitement were immense.  RIP Eddie and thanks for the memories.
